why not just cancel the Super League fixtures for that weekend like they do in football its not rocket science.

We have the same argument every year in the NRL around Origin time. For me the answer is simple: the salary cap covers a squad of at least 25 players. Teams also have their Under 20s to draw on. If hogging all the top players is going to disadvantage a club so badly, maybe they could let some of the other teams sign one of them.

Let's also be very clear: the clubs make them play, not the League. If a club maltreats its prized employees like that, should I support them?

Its not a lot unlike the Easter round if you think about it and everyone complains about that, and farmduck is right look at how many under 20`s have come through into super league this season,still looking forward to a great game on Sunday no matter who runs out for the Wire.

let them get on with it years ago they played far more games then now and on less pay

St George where depleted because of the the players being away on Origin duty.....that's life... clubs and supporters should stop having a whine if clubs get the the best players they have to take the rough with the smooth...perhaps the RFL should take on the top players contracts and loan them out to the clubs...then everyone will be happy.
