I remember Billy Ritchie as a great keeper, not that tall I don't think, but very agile

Quite common in those days. Simpson was the same... 5ft 8 or 9 but could stand with his back on one post and leap across and touch the other. Unbelievable. I remember people used to say that mccloy was too big to be a goalie. That tall keepers couldn't get down quick enough. Imagine that now. If your not 6 foot 4 you've no chance.
Goram was possibly the last of the great wee goalies

I remember going to the games with my da when I was very young and him buying the "Green Citizen" which always had a player poster
I remember Jimmy Millar,Alex Scott, callow etc
Had loads of them
I wish I still dud😂😂

Just picked up on this - very sad news - I remember a wee ditty from the sixties - instead of "Campbeltown Loch, I wish you were whiskey" - it was "Campbell Forsyth, I wish you were Ritchie"
