Fresh from a week in which even the most loyal, intelligent, long suffering fans of The Mighty Rams have had a fairly long spell of introspection, examination of what they believe and how we should do it.......nothing really has been resolved and we lumber on........
Just to get it out of the way, Rotherham have not beaten Derby since August 2002........the die is cast......oh, and a defeat today would signal our longest away losing streak since 2012......
I understand that Gorgeous George is back in the fold and should start today. But apart from that, I cannot see what the 'best team' is going to be. I'd like to dwell on all things positive for Derby County (OK, I'm a naturally cautious person) but even if win today, it will NOT make things better or a promotion more realistic. The only way we will attain is by others mistakes.
Oh, and Rotherham are on for their longest winning streak in the second tier since 1982 and are managed by Colin Warnock who many believed could do a job a Derby .....๐ณbehave!
Team news from Mojaca if you please?

Although I don't see him as the ultimate answer, I desperately want Wassall to succeed in his temporary position. What bothered me most of all, was his failure to acknowledge that the substitutions had had any influence on the final result and, as well as not apologising to the fans, he failed to accept any responsibility for it. In trying to isolate himself from any blame, he loaded it all onto the players (who were equally culpable). I think, by his attitude, he may well have backed himself into a difficult corner.

Blackman and Bent on

I'd have left the starting line-up on and tried to get a proper bag-full. It seems mandatory to make subs these days.

I know F.ck-all about football, was crap at playing it, but seem better informed than Wassall.

As much as there are positives to take, it still highlights DW's naivety, if we'd have appointed someone else with a bit of nous, I think we would have had that starting lineup or similar from the get and not have made those subs. I'm glad we've finally found some balance to the starting lineup, still doesn't hide the fact that DW should never have been put in charge.
