Inevitably it will be a Wenger-out fest on the board today. However how many people here would have been satisfied with a fa cup win this season?
For people who want Wenger out, this is a perfect result for you, as an Fa cup win will have guaranteed a contract extension. Also you all said before that an fa cup win wouldnt change your view of Wenger in the slightest so why are you the ones shouting the loudest yet again?
We all wait and see what happens in the league. The fa cup is an irrelevance if we are being honest. It served a purpose in the last two years but no one here would think we had a good season if we won it.
The only worry is the effect it will have on the players. Im actually pleased we are playing away against a decent side next as we have been pathetic at home for some reason, seems the players are intimidated by their own fans. Everton is now win or bust. Lets hope Villa start fighting to stay in the PL today too, likely to happen.
Does the result today really matter?

oh ffs if we won the F.A Cup Godfather would be telling everyone what an amazing achievement winning it 3 times in a row is. because we lost it's unimportant

Every defeat hurts, I seem to find it hard to get over them though. Should really be used to it by now considering the last 10 years.

Of course it matters every game that is lost matters. It can't be hidden anymore Arsenal's form over the last 3 months has been dreadful. Even the most serious AKB's can't run away from that fact, players are regressing under this manager Sanchez being the perfect example.

Spurs are going to be 8 points ahead after today with a far superior goal difference
I have no idea where our next win is coming from

Not sure what you are talking about Godfather. How would an FA Cup win trigger an extension?

Godfather there are only 8 games left for Spurs.
It's practically 7 points with their goal difference
Also, we have won 1 game in 7, you really think we will win 9 games on the bounce?

Whilst winning the FA Cup wouldn't have made it a 'good' season, the way we've played in the main, neither would winning the League.
Remember, this is the season of seasons where the players had to justify Wenger's confidence in them, yet they've been worse than ever.
I know this is old ground, but no outfield players signed in the summer, all that money in the bank, then we get to January and our sole bit of business is a player that looks good in comparison to Flamini, but bog average compared to the majority of our rivals' midfielders.
Wenger will not be leaving based on winning, or losing. Kroenke has basically confirmed that this week in the press.
A pathetic state of affairs and, considering the wealth about the start flooding into the Premier League, one that I can only see getting worse before it gets better.

If we were 2 points behind Leicester and 2-0 up on barca things would be different. However we are not and practically out of all the completions
For wenger fans the fa cup would have been the only saving grace

im a wenger fan and an fa cup would not have been any kind of saving grace.

You almost sound glad that Arsenal lost. Are you sure that you really are a Gunner fan, or are you in a total state of denial????????????????

A day later...
It still matters.
Keep you posted as to whether it still matters next week.
And next month.
And come the end of the season.
