Honestly, what actually happens from here? Our CL exit is imminent, Spurs have a very strong chance of finishing above us whilst Leicester could lift the title.
Wenger in his last few years here has had an incredible knack for hanging on even when the pressure has peaked. Either by winning a domestic trophy or reviving top 4 before convincing supporters it's important for the progress of the season to follow but this time around nothing but the league will do plus we're out of other competitions anyway.
I have a feeling we will come 2nd/3rd and maybe buy a household name early in the summer just to briefly silence frustrated supporters and the world will continue to spin.
Signing Messi wouldn't convince me Wenger is still the right man and even some of his most staunchest supporters have now turned as he's let them down hugely.
Our season was over the very moment we signed no outfield player whilst mid-table clubs were purchasing true quality that'd even get into our team. Upon the Welbeck news dropped right after the deadline.
Welbeck looks decent and maybe could've had a wonderful season after a proper pre-season under Wenger but he's missed out on massive development time as a CF and atm isn't good enough to be main CF for a title-winning team.
Injuries were always going to occur, we knew that. So the stop-gap system we had with Ramsey wide, Coqzorla central and Theo up top was vital that we didn't lose a single part of the machine otherwise we'd fall apart and we have.
It was a flawed system but the closest one to any decent tactically balanced side Wenger could conjure, Wilshere in for Santi was the only possible fluid change that'd work as well as Welbz in for Theo.
We're just a mess. We play awful football, no tactics, no new youngsters have made an impact bar Iwobi (still minimal). There's absolutely no positives to take other than the fact that Wenger could really actually go sooner rather than later.
It's hard to see the light at the end of this Arsenal tunnel while things remain. I just don't know what happens from here. A late, late title surge is the only thing that can really redeem things and even then I'd still want him gone but just be happy he can leave on a high.
It's very sad he could leave with things as messy as they are but it's certainly his fault and we don't demand signings in the summer because it's fun to do most can actually see we're severely weak in certain areas, Wenger refuses to address them and laughs it off until the going gets tough.
Please just go and let's hire a very good coach (Tuchel, Blanc, Koeman etc..) we need a philosophy and modern day thinking.

Imagine if you sack Wenger or he resigns and end up doing a Utd and spending 250 Mill and can't get into the top 4
Be careful of what you wish for

Most fans will now agree, it's a risk worth taking. Also the Arsenal situation is completely different to the United one, they had to replace the GOAT, we need to replace a guy clearly failing on many levels.
