Thankful for LFC

After reading, watching and listening to Football events the last few days concerning massive fan backlash in the Prem and others I'm so happy that isn't happening at our club.

We have lot's of problems that need solving and hopefully we can do well and build a platform from. However Klopp has manage to bring the fans together. I haven't met one serious Pool fan that doesn't think Klopp is good for our club. We still have a long way to go make no mistake however at least we are all onside again. The noise levels are returning and we are seeing good football return with and without the ball. Inconsistent yes but commitment and passion no.

It's only after seeing BR leave and witnessing other clubs now I see how toxic our environmenthad gotten. It makes a huge difference when fans are together and believe you're at least trying to go the right direction. So well done to FSG and Klopp but let's have a good end and with a bit of luck see what happens.

Arsenal fans are a problem. Especially the kids on social media such as twitter. Most of those vines and memes you speak of are probably made by oppo fans. These kids will share it all across the Internet.

But the biggest problem? Really? Give over.

Fans generally respond to the situation at the club. Most expensive ticket prices, only to see that money stashed away, and then to see the season inevitably pan out the way it has for the last decade.

And then to back it up with a made up Stat about being unbeaten in ten or whatever?

As I said. Crap.

yup.

the worst wums on old 606 were arsenal kids. old batman eboue and lady eowyln...

.........

But the point on expensive tickets and seeing money tucked away somewhere while every feb or march you implode must be frustrating.

the issue is down the other end say look at newcastle its just as frustrating.

the point being... its very spoiled behavior when cups have been delivered.

To be honest, some of our fans on here are no different to some of the Arsenal fans. Every club has the 'instant success syndrome' fans.
It does seem to be more so with Arsenal though. Maybe their fans are just more vociferous.
To be fair; we also have fans on here that only seem to crawl out of the woodwork to criticise when we lose, or are going through one of our inconsistent periods, but seem to be rarely seen when we are doing well or win.

Arsenal are in a unique position in the Prem with the manager having been there 20 years.

I don't think it's really fair to say their fans are the worst because of this. No other fans are in the same situation.

You can't just back a manager forever just because he used to be good.

FA Cups are nice but they haven't shown any progress at all in the CL or the league for 10 years. Yes finishing 4th isn't terrible but year after year after year the same failings happening I can see why they are so angry.

They don't implode or bottle it at the end of every season; They have just won back to back cups, which happen at the end of the season.
If you mean they haven't won the title for umpteen years, thats because better teams beat them, often United.
And when did Pool last win a title? and does that make you bigger bottlers? Or just not quite good enough, like Arsenal.
It could well be my teams turn next, so be it.
Hope Leicester do it this year, if not Spurs.

that is fair. they have won two cups. What this tells me is that their team is better than some of their fans.

The abuse of a manager who's delivered frnakly what my club can only dream of is why they are spoiled and a bit of a period in the wilderness would be good for them.

Utd have not been in the wilderness long enough to knock the edges of them for example. 3 years on and there's frustration there without winning anything but then they are still in 3 competitions apparently so the assumption of winning things is still there.

Arsenal went for 8 years without winning, paid off a stadium, ended up with hugely expensive tickets to get to see their team but then get ozil and sanchez and two FA cups.... you'd think that'd at least be a releif to them.

You are right in the fact that the manager has had the time to assess the squad and should know exactly what and which players he needs this summer.

Now I hope he gets them because if we go out and waste £80m on players that can't improve the first 11 straight away then it's pointless.

If you've been at your club since 1996 you shouldn't need to spend tens of millions on players just a few choice additions

AW is 'perceived' as good with young players. The reality in terms of whats actually been delivered by home grown talents is very very different

Spending £12 million on 16 year old players. What massive financial constraints! It's a joke

10 years later we are still debating as to whether Walcott will ever become a top top player

Lies, lies and more lies and people have fallen for it for years

You'd never get away with it at any other top club
