You probably think I'm gonna say which is better, but that's not what I'm saying at all..
IGN is reporting of what could be the early signs of cross network play between PlayStation and Xbox?

Xbox vs Playstation

Sounds great on paper, just feel either will have compatibility issues with their online service.
But, if any generation has a chance its this one, with both boxes fundamentally being the same PC in the box with a few minor differences

If you had asked me I would have definitely said this exisited in the PS2 / X-box days.
I have never been one for on-line play but I seem to remember friends playing PES (maybe 3 or 4) cross platform about 12 years ago approx.
Then when I heard it couldn't be done on the PS3 / X-Box 360 I was acutally surprised.
Was I tripping
Soulds like it
Anyway;
PS2 > X-Box
360 > PS3
PS3 > X-box One

Sheet that meant to say;
PS4 > X-Box One
I can't even get my sly digs right

I think this is something all gamers can applaud

I think it's Microsoft saying to Sony let's be on the same page as our sales have been quite poor, that way current Xbox gamers won't jump ship and new buyers won't be put off by cross my platform problems.
