Just looked at the top 4's remaining fixtures and I can honestly see 75 points being the maximum points that could win the PL. Leicester and Spurs have some tough fixtures and Arsenal still have City away and choke regardless. City have too much to do now to catch up.
I wouldn't be surprised to see Leicester lose their last 3 games and still win it !

Did Blackburn not break the British transfer record twice in signing Sutton and Shearer? I think they also broke the British record for a keeper in signing Flowers but may be wrong. They spent a lot of money for the time

Tbf that means that before we signed Cole (well over half way through the season) Blackburn had spent considerably more than us to assemble their squad, and our outlay had been since the late 80s too. So yeah, they did spend huge amounts
