Torres

Hey Chelsea fans

What is the feeling with Torres amongst u?

Do u feel he will come good or is the feeling that the prem has seen the best of him?

Im a Liverpool fan but i still think he will come good for u, only a matter of time for me, think if he finds his best form u will go very close to the title this season!

Think you have signed a good player in Merieles also, was sad to see him go tbh, even though it did seem for most of the summer he was available at the right price, just wish it had been done earlier!

Thoughts?

He started the season in my fantasy football team, 3 games on, he has been replaced with Rooney It just doesn't look like he will hit the form of 08/09

I don't get why everyone put him in their fantasy teams

Up until recently I didn't have any Chelsea players in my team, way overpriced IMO

What Torres needs is to play as a centre forward and not track back and link up play. He's a goalscorer FFS!!!! He also needs service and Chelsea have nobody who crosses the ball in the box - well, now they have Mata - but in general Chelsea lack players to put quick balls into the area which is what a centre forward thrives on - either directly or on the second or third ball. Malouda is a winger with no pace, who cuts inside, can't beat a man and waits an age for the defence to set itself before crossing the ball, Kalou is a joke of a player - even he can't believe he's at one of the top European clubs still. Your team lacks creativity, flair and intelligence.

Personally, I think that he's lost faith in himself. He's clearly a confidence player and right now he's possibly the least confident football player I've ever seen. When he gets a goal he'll be up and running. That's a guarantee.

It will be interesting to know how Torres feels about his old mate (his words) departure. There was so much comment and faith in benny's ability to service Torres. Hopefully with Mata and newboy Meireles this is what is expected to happen. But what about the expression that goes "if it aint broke (and is starting to look like a promising partnership) why break it?

He has to come good sooner or later.

If Mata and Sturridge are played either side of Torres in a front three then I think we could see Torres start scoring goals immediately.

Let´s hope so because when Torres scored against West Ham last season I thought it would open the flood gates but it didn´t.

As I said earlier Torres needs to be played with Mata and Sturridge either side and the goals will fly in.
