Loads of everton fans saying he hasn't been his best for past couple of seasons but now that he's moved i'm sure he'll be motivated to do a good job especially in CL. He'll be playing in the centre where he prefers unlike when he was usually on the flanks at everton. Wenger will exploit his natural abilities for sure, he won't be fit to replace fabregas fully but him and wilshere will have shared responsibility on picking out the killer passes and directing the midfield.

Who is slagging Arteta off then? I think the majority of us recognise the service he has given us and by leaving us (albeit we were lucky getting two in) he has given us a financial lifeline.

Maybe he did go a little stale at Everton. It happens, and when a player moves he recovers his best form.
I know that from experience - for example Vassell when he signed for City from Villa was a revelati.... ooh, hang on a minute!

"He hardly played a forward pass"
The passes he did play were very creative though

Anyway, I don't really rate him to be honest but I suppose at a team containing the likes of Ronaldo, Ramos, Di Maria, Alonso, etc he was never going to stand out
Nor would Arteta

Can defend when necessary.
Angry when a captain and top scorer gets sold in a car boot sale.

Arteta was a big big player for Everton. Always stood out as the best midfielder at the club.
