Lets face it

He isnt going to resign, you can see it in his press conferences, he is eager to prove a point. There is no sign of a man weary or about to give up. We all know he is not going to be fired. He is practically unsackable unless he fails to get Top 4 or blows excessive amounts on useless players and costs the club profits.

You can come up with a dossier as long as London bridge to show how he is a specialist of failure but the truth is to the people that matter he is not.He is still a genius.

Top 4 throughout his tenure generating Top 3 revenue in that time while using less money than Tottenham, Liverpool and Manchester City.Only United and Chelsea have been more successful.Any club owner would want that so lets all be realistic for a minute.

Fan displeasure or knee jerk opinions from childish fans like Castor Troy don't cloud those facts. Do I want him out, yes, like everybody else I wish he would go, but I'm not stupid enough to ignore all the other issues at play here.

Our season of failure will likely include another Top 4 finish. Yes we have been dire but not any worse than United, Chelsea or City who are still pretty much our bench marks for success.

Worse than the results this season has been the performances. I have always felt that we are unbeatable at home but lately with our dozy defence and inability to break down defensive teams that is becoming a usual occurrence and I guess football is evolving to an extent.

What are the problems and what can we salvage going forward?

Watching us last night it was funny how this team comes out and expresses itself when the opposition opens up and these are loads of spaces all over the pitch. We have lost our identity this season and its the first thing we need to regain this summer. If we are to persist with Oil we need to give him the tools that make him effective.

Secondly we need to work on our plan B when teams defend narrow and frustrate us.The first thing would be to take our chances but we also need to work on our setpiece game and probably win more penalties in the box by committing opposition defenders.

WE ALSO NEED TO SHOOT MORE!!

Our biggest problem in my opinion is our inability to take our chances.Yes our defending is bad (Not the worst) but our inability to make use of the chances we create is unacceptable. More than a world class striker(Which City have by the way) I think we need a good goal scoring winger. All Wenger teams had goal scoring wingers on either side and we are currently very weak there.

Funny enough at the end of November as we started to grind out results I remember mentioning that if we had Wilshere and Welbeck on our bench we would go on a run and open up a gap at the top. Most laughed this of as Welbeck was seen as an inferior player to Walcott and Wilshere's attitude made him a worse player than Ramsey. Truth is if we had Wilshere and Welbeck we wouldn't have had to endure the poor form of Ramsey and Giroud.

despite the gloom in the cold light of day we aren't any worse than United or Chelsea.maybe City are a touch ahead of us but I still think Pep need to buy some decent players as that squad is very unbalanced.

I am not a Wenger apologist, far from it.Call me the Realist

We go again, COYG

I agree he isn't going anywhere.

I'm sure he is laughing in private. The only way the club does something is when their revenue is hit because the fans have decided to stop giving their money to Arsenal.

Should protest instead of taking this on the chin, year after year.

Wenger is keeping his chin and the teams morale up but I still think if we do finish 3rd or 4th now he will walk away or go upstirs

The fans are babies they will argue amongst each other instead of putting it to the club.

He won't walk away at the end of the season - the only chance is at the end of his contract and that is not until next year.
