Drinkwater named in England squad

Even despite his performance against Newcastle...

Great for him to get his first call-up and well deserved given his performances this season. What fans of other clubs may not be aware of is that he's one of our players who would be comfortable with a higher possession style, as he proved in the Championship a couple of years back when we did dominate the ball.

On another note, this could also be very good news for Jamie Vardy as it'd mean there's a familiar face there and someone who might actually want to talk to him.

Poor old Sandy, still living in WUM world.

It's funny how Sandy accepts Poch " chucking" the Europa League to save his players for the Premier League run in but when we put our reserves out and don't seem bothered about an FA Cup run so we can concentrate on the League then it's a small club mentality and he WUMS until his colostomy bag is full.......

The bloke is an idiot that's why. I've filtered him now so at least he can't comment on any of my articles anymore, implore the rest of us to do the same otherwise every thread is going to be riddled his inane bullshiittt and the topic will continually be deflected/ignored and all replies will have no relevance to the article, they will simply be arguing with him.

So do yourselves a favour and remove this clown from our board by ourselves of admin can't be bothered. I'm sick of reading his bullshittt and I'm fed up with reading everyone else allowing him stage time.

At least when I went on their board to speak my mind, I used knowledge, experience and incite to back my argument, this clown offers absolutely fook all.

Let`s be fair Leicester don`t have the squad to compete in more than one competition. The last month, whilst Leicester may still have been picking up points, they have looked shockingly average against WBA, Watford, Norwich and Newcastle. Now that the playing field has levelled up with both Spurs and Arsenal both only playing Prem games, they will be putting some serious heat on Leicester.

The mark of a good team, wouldn't you say Sandy? Playing averagely but yet picking up 10 points our of 12?

Let's face it, playing brilliantly week in, week out is impossible for any team. At this stage of the season it's all about grinding out results. We can do it, Arsenal usually can't.

That is OK, but playing averagedly only lasts for so long. I get your point though.

Let's be fair Sandy Spurs performances outside the Premier League don't exactly exude confidence that you have a squad that can compete in more than 1 competition.
FA Cup - 5th Round
Carling Cup - 3rd Round
Europa League - first knockout round after the group stages

Not exactly tearing up trees. And this with a squad that you have been telling everyone who would listen is adaptable/deep enough to cope with playing 2 games a week.

I am sure that now you are out of Europe it will be easier for your squad now and if I was a Spurs fan I would be hoping you can kick in now.

Good luck, may be the best, most consistent team win

Spurs beat a good Fiorentina team 4-1 in the first knockout stages of the Europa League. You do have a habit of getting your facts wrong.
