I expect Shiels Bell Templeton Law and Clark to be out. Got to assume that'll free a decent amount of money for other additions.

I'd be fine with King staying on and I'd give Ball and Zelalem another shot. Both have a long way to go but definitely have potential to help next season.

Yep falkirk played 30 on 61 points
Hibs played 28 on 55 points

Both can only get to 79 points with max points from remain games

Were on 72 points with 7 games lefy. So just the 8 points needed

Forrester deserves a contract too

We need a clinical goal scorer, a holding midfielder and a central defender

If bell goes we need another goalie , maybe on loan

Hopefully we can wrap it up next 3 games then help Falkirk secure 2nd spot to rub Stubbs nose in it

Falkirk can go 9 clear of hibs next week by beating livi at Home with hibs game called off for internationals

i don't see hibs getting second

7 points will win the league beacuse of the goal difference,3 games before the cup games qots at home raith away then Dumbarton at Ibrox it should be done by then earlier if hibs/falkirk lose again

as for the holding midfielder Crooks plays there and has had a good season for accrington so i would imagine he has signed his holding player already

don't see where windass fits in though we have lots in his positions

I don't care who gets second as long as we get first.

Warburton seems pretty shrewd when you look at his buys so far.

I am pretty sure he will have a list of targets identified for each position that he knows need strengthened.

The question I have is how big a squad will he want to move to once in the spl? He has stated many times he likes a small squad that he can keep everyone involved in potentially having an opportunity of playing each week, but how does he keep that once we are in the spl and playing higher quality opposition week in week out, such as Aberdeen, Celtic , hearts , hibs perhaps, your Motherwell away fixtures etc and through in European fixtures into the mix.

That's the bit I am interested to see how he manages that, because he has not had to do that in any of his previous roles and clubs.

Robbie the roar has a big squad, prob too big for him to manage properly , hence the indifferent results and unrest that appears to be with his players.

Warburton is running a tight ship and getting the best out of this small squad , and full credit to him and weir for it and the great entertaining style of play this season.

I am really looking forward to seeing how he maintains that next season.

He has shown against killie and Dundee that the team and squad are more than a match for lower half of table spl teams.

The test against Celtic in the cup in a few weeks will be interesting. I expect Celtic to win it unfortunately but that's based on them have more clinical finishers and our defence not being used to playing a team like that this season. However in a one off game anything can happen.

It's been a great season and so glad we got warburton, I could not have imagined the season would have been as good as it has been after the farce of last year.
