New Stadium

I see there were protests against our plans to build a new stadium on Walton Park. Funny how the Red side didn't get any problems with their plans on Stanley Park.
The Council must have a lot of Red side followers on the board as all of our plans never get approved.
It's a shame we didn't have the new owner when the Kings Dock plans were in place and we could fund it. That was the best looking stadium plans I've ever seen and a great location.

Five stars from me. The Americans wanted to redevelop Goodison and wanted assistance with the roads etc. The council want WHP.

Unfortunately,Anderson and his cronies rule the roost.
Only interested in Money making schemes which they feel will boost their funds despite having a detrimental effect on the general populous, not only of Liverpool but also The Wirral etc.
Has he ever paid a tunnel fee or got on a ferry. I cant recall ever seeing him on the other side of the water.

I can understand why they want WHO regenerated, I park my car around there on match days and it's in dire need of a spruce up. However if we move there, and that's a massive if as I have my doubts it will ever be funded, what is going to happen to the area around Goodison? Is that going to be left to dwindle into the same state as the roads up towards Kirkdale and like WHP is now?

We shouldn't be blackmailed as a club into being the driver for change in an area or blamed for that change not happening because we decided to stay put and regenerate Goodison.

Realistically WHP gives us the most scope for getting the stadium we want but Goodison is obviously stacked with our history and it would be hard to leave.

The council want the club to be head of the development at WHP and tag on regeneration projects. I was never behind a renovation, but that's what the council don't want. They have a fall guy now for decreased spending and I don't think the new guy will fall for it.

Let's go for the park plot the RS had permission for?

Used to live in Liverpool and go on occasionally at goodison when I was a student many years ago.

Where is WHP? I can't see much scope for developing Goodison, it's too tightly packed around the ground.

We can't really build on the Liverpool site on SP as its virtually opposite their ground isn't it? Another site on SP, preferably nearer Goodison would be ok by me though.

On the site, on the park......

Not sure why not? Neither side will be at home on the same days.

Liverpool were prepared to pay for that privilege. Everton have no money.

Any project to move or develop Anfield will always take priority and be favoured over anything Everton try; as LFC bring far more business and culture to the city.

They did pay for it, not even a spade in the ground and the club spent Millions on nothing

Fans money stolen under the promise of a few images knocked up on paintshop pro.
