Monday Monday.

Monday is probably the worst day of the week for most people who have to go to work. I sincerely hope that none of you have to work alongside any Bristol City supporters. On the other hand, I hope that Phillips and Reid use their time with the squad to 1. relegate the likes of Davies, Rachukba, Wheater and Moxey, add any others you feel fit, to the development squad. 2. Reid and Jimmy have a lot to do to install some confidence in the younger players. If they can't install it in the senior players, let's hope that they can motivate the youngsters.

We are going to have to cope without the high earning players who are out of contract come next season, so why not start the revolution now. We have nothing to lose as we all accept we are relegated whether or not the stats say otherwise.

The senior players have a lot to answer for regarding the display at Bristol. It would seem that not one of them stood up and gave his all. Which considering the wages they pick up every month, is disgusting.

We have players out of contract come June but we also have the likes of Davies, who when he isn't on the treatment bench, isn't performing to his potential. I would get rid even if he has to go on a free. That doesn't mean the club shouldn't try to sell him but rather than keep him for the remainder of his contract drawing good money, I would let him go.

With relegation comes the loss of £5,000,000 in TV rights so it's unlikely there will be a lot of money to rebuild the team, if any, so it has to be bosman players that don't command high wages and the youth we have in the development squad. It won't be easy and I expect a long haul before we can even start to have a team that can truly compete for promotion. What division we will actually be in is anybodies guess.

What matters now is that the new manager is capable off assembling a backroom team of people who can bring out the best of the team. It seeems to me that the last two or three managers have not been able to bring in the right people to improve the players under their charge. We also need a squad with the right attitude who will sweat blood for BWFC. A new mindset is needed and now is the time to start the rejuvenation of our club.

Should be last day in Court today, for a few months anyway, so will close that chapter of our history.
With a 2 week break from domestic football, JP will be trying to reinstall some pride and confidence in to the players, while also giving that drabble who went onto the pitch against Bristol some extra laps around the training fields.

In fact, make those players earn their salaries by giving them a more gruelling training regime, if they complain or refuse to do it , them sack them. Job done.

I think we all knew that would happen but it's good news.

BWFC just needs to rubber stamp some P45s now.

Heres the league table after bolton beat rotherham http://m.bbc.co.uk/sport/football/35447375 Rotherham sacked redfearn employed warnock, bolton kept lennon. Rotherham not quite safe but 13 points clear of bolton look like staying up. Bolton in this this position because they have had an owner/chairman not got a clue. A manager has a shelf life.
