Where will he come from?Days like this I wish kamran was around to give us a list of promising unknowns.I know 50% of the list was dog sheit but at least there was a list.
Was watching the Juve v Bayern game and to be fair to Mex who I had a go at, Juve played well. Carved through a shocking bayern defence and deserved to win the second leg as much as bayern deserved to win the first.
By the way that Bayern Team WTF Robben and Ribery cant get a start and Costa bossing it. Its even better than the team Pep found.
Dybala and Morata stood out. Both had excellent nights and Morata suprised me a lot. like Pogba looks a completely different play to the one who arrived in Turn some seasons back. Pity Madrid want him back
I will be honest and say despite his improvement he wont suit us anymore than I think Lukaku will.I am a big fan of Lukaku but I just dont think he will suit our system like say Abumeyang would or even Benzema.
I personally want Lewandowski but GT is convinced he would never consider a move to Arsenal so I guess Abumeyang has to be our top target this summer.
I prefer him to anything else we can find on the market but he is only marginally better than the likes of Kane and still way off the likes of Aguero.
alternatively Welbeck could go on a run like Theo at the end of last season and Wenger decides not to sign anyone.
I foresee another difficult summer
World class striker?

I don't understand why people keep thinking we will sign a world class striker just to be let down again.
It won't happen, we will not sign a world class striker.

The whole media including Bayern's ex manager Hitzfeld thought that Klopp would be the next Bayern manager. And you know what? The latter believes that Bayern will be Kloppo's next manager when Ancelotti will leave.
____
Who do you mean by "the latter"?
----------------------------------------------------------------------
I meant Hitzfeld
----------------------------------------------------------------------
Ok, thought so, just didn't read that way.
Is Hitzfeld close to the club hierarchy? Just asking, because if he isn't there's no reason to give his opinion more credence than anyone else's, especially considering he already got it wrong once.

Back on Mandzukic -
Wolfburg - 60 games 20 goals.
Bayern - 88 Games 48 Goals
Atletico - 43 Games 20 Goals.
Juve - 28 Games 9 Goals (No a first teamer though)
These are certainly not rubbish stats as hes never been the main man at these clubs above.
hes 29 so again no chance.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
I found another guy with some similar stats:
Tours - 44 games 24 goals
Montpellier 73 games 33 goals
Arsenal 118 games 53 goals
France 45 games 13 goals (No a first teamer though)
----------------------------------------------------------------------
Sorry but Mandzukic has played for the biggest club in Germany, Italy and the 2nd best team in Spain.
Giroud played for a couple chitty french clubs, yes they won the league that one season which was great but that could easily have been a one season wounder abit like Vardy and Leicester.
Arsenal create 20 chances per game just about so its only right he should have a decent goal tally which thats all it is.

And Bayern et al don't create as many chances a game as Arsenal? Think about your logic dude.

Aubameyang has been the obvious signing for 2 seasons now. Initially when we needed a top winger who could play CF and now as an outright CF.
I imagine we've missed the boat, he was/is obviously a player that would have suited us perfectly but we bottled our transfer windows and I've got the feeling a more ambitious club will be in for him now.

Afobe looking to play for DR Congo now, trying to get clearance in time for this week but unlikely.
Big loss for England.

Makes sense should choose the nation with the better chance of winning the World Cup.
