Kramaric - lighting up the Bundesliga

Leicester City striker Andrej Kramaric has been nominated for the Bundesliga's player of the month award following impressive performances while on loan at Hoffenheim

Three goals and an assist for Kramaric this month has helped relegation-threatened Hoffenheim to three victories from four matches, and his displays have been rewarded with a place on the four-man shortlist for the March player of the month award.

Also nominated are former Chelsea players Andre Schurrle and Claudio Pizarro, now at Wolfsburg and Werder Bremen respectively, plus Borussia Monchengladbach forward Raffael.

Croatian international Kramaric has been in fine form in front of goal since leaving City on loan in January, and his penalty in a 3-1 win at Hamburg on Saturday made it three consecutive games on the scoresheet and helped move Hoffenheim to within goal difference of safety.

Will he get his premier league winners medal in the post?

This is why it annoys me when people rave about Hernandez like we let a world class player. Kramaric and 38 year old Claudio Pizarro (who couldn't cut it in the PL) nominated for player of the month. I'm no bundesliga expect but the standard doesn't seem to be great

Hopefully this might keep that asking price rising...

I can't see him doing any good here unfortunately. Something just doesn't click.

Process - I don't know enough about Hernandez to comment, but my main criticism of Kramaric is that he's the kind of player who wants too many touches. (So does Mahrez of course, but he's a class above.)

This hardly reads like a list of all-time greats, does it?

It's always dangerous to write players off though Dunge. Did any of us honestly think mahrez and carry would reach the levels they have after their first unspectacular seasons in the championship? Ok mahrez had clear potential but vardy was a headless chicken

Kramaric has had hardly any time on the pitch to prove his worth and vardy benefited from having lots of chances given to him time and again. Kramaric is top quality but doesn't fit the style ranieri now wants to play. No doubt he will be a success for another team
