We do have borders you idiot. You've probably never left the country for fear of nasty foreign people but we have this thing called passport control and immigration.

Ukip continually harp on about sovereignty and border control, when in reality there will be no change whatsoever - should the UK decide to leave the EU.

If we leave the EU we make our own rules up regarding Border controls, who we let in and out of the country, which european policies to adopt and which not to adopt, this is why millions of people want to leave the rotten sinking ship called the EU before we sink with it

Just to add, you realise “they” comprise of MEP’s (who we all voted for in the European elections) from the UK too.

The percentage of EU laws which the EU parliament (each country) had an equal say on is around 70%.

However of those laws implemented in the UK, the figure is closer to 5%. Of these laws, the majority have benefited the UK.

Should the UK brexit, EU legislation will still be implemented by the UK government but as the UK would not be involved in the negotiating process, they would have no influence on deciding the specifics of the legislation.

How will (in practice) will the UK be able to change "the rules" ?

I am looking at the bigger picture, you're the small minded bigot here.

Closed borders = magical disappearance of terrorism.

During WWII the UK would round up anyone known with Germanic connections, as did USA with Japanese connections and put them in camps - as they were the enemy.

What do we do now with our enemies? Let them roam around and preach their evil ideas to those that will listen and those that are vulnerable and if you stand out against it then you get called a 'racist'

We are too soft, not only here in UK but the rest of Europe, letting all these migrants in without real checks and we are paying the price.

Is it any wonder groups like BNP and EDL form? - the governments are weak and some people have just had enough.
