Last night for the first time since the 1980's, Spurs supplied 4 or more players to an England starting line up.
Now I think credit has got to go to the Spurs coaching staff and of course Pochettino. Whilst only one of the players selected were actually Poch's signings, it is his belief in youth, training methods and style of play that has got these players their recognition so far.
Last night they all looked comfortable in an England shirt, Rose had a good game at left back & it certainly looked as though he had played there for England more times than just this.
Dier grows with each game he plays & apart from a couple of moments looks to have guaranteed his place in the Euros.
Both Kane & Alli are definites for Euro2016, with Alli once again getting Man of the Match. It is crazy to imagine that this time last year he was playing in League 1 for MKDons, and certainly was not on England's radar at all for the Euros
Kane is gradually moving into becoming an established international footballer. His goal was sublime & shows that even if you are marked by top class players, when you get the opportunity to score he takes it with class.
One comment re Vardy, I have got to say his goal was excellent & showed great skill for one whose main asset is supposed to be speed. He should definitely be going to the Euros in my opinion!
The other thing to remember is that Hodgson had the foresight to select these players and give them a chance together. He is not my favourite manager, but will give him credit on this occasion.
If our players keep gaining experience on the international stage it can only be good for their confidence going forward.
We have also supplied England with more players than any other club in history
Credit Where Credit is Due!

I'd still have Barkley ahead of Alli, although the latter is better defensively, but great to have options.

That's the thing, Ross is great going forward, but from what I've seen he rarely tracks back and as a midfielder you can't do that at international level.

If you're playing a 4-2-3-1 the middle of the 3 (Alli/Barkley) doesn't have much in the way of defensive duties.

4-4-2 diamond only the tip of the diamond does little in defence, the other 3 are expected to step up
Considering Sterling is the best option for the tip, Alli would be my pick over Barkley.
4-2-3-1 you could argue for Barkely over Alli for the middle of the 3, however i think Ross is a bit too inconsistent.

I didnt watch teh game but it seems like we had a good game. Woy will put Ronney back into the squad when the Euros come and Alli/Barkley wont have a chance to start.

I think you could play both with Alli next to probably Dier especially as Hendos form is bad atm too and Barkley infront in a 4-2-3-1.
If Rooney gets back in Woy deserves what he gets lol lucky to still manager after the last World cup as it is.

Kane's and Vardy's goals made me ejaculate.
That turn from Kane was world class, and that back heel flick from Vardy was a special finish.

I like seeing Arsenal fans reaction on Twitter to Kane. Was talking to one who stated that Kane was lucky to score and done nothing in the game. What more can Kane do to change that persons opinion!? The goal against Arsenal was world class a few weeks back.
It is great we have supplied so many internationals. All are clearly deserved as all players are bang in form. I like the fact we have had some outstanding internationals over the years.
Poch has forced loads of players into the English setup no surprise he is fourth fav for the England job (never gonna go to an argie though obviously!)

In the WC Roy picked loads of LFC players and tried to play like LFC after their great season. Now he's picking Spurs' players on mass and the style has changed again. Not convinced Roy is having any influence on the team or that any real progress has been made by him since the WC, it's just that players are progressing at their clubs and bringing it to england

Big kudos to Poch. It's almost as if he's managing the England side on behalf of Hodgson with what he's done and is doing with these Spurs players.

Theres a fair few good teams and managers in England now who play similar good football with the high intensity pressing, and not too bad in possession, so the England way at international level is changing finally! however the coach we have is still a dinosaur and i don't expect anything but failure from him in the next tourney again.
