Kante

Has been a revelation since he joined Leicester last summer. Kante has been outstanding, hugely effective and the catalyst for his team this season. Kante reminds me of certain frenchman Makelele, who helped Chelsea team win the title after 50 years. Kante is tipped to be named PFA Player of The Year, I hope does too and deservedly so. Although, a hugely important/influantial player for this Leicester team, we shouldn't ignore other players like Mahrez, Vardy, Schmeichel, Drinkwater etc.. their role to their team prominence this season. Also, huge credit should be given to the Tinkerman for identifying players like Kante, making few tweaks and fine adjustments to this team, which has turned this Leicester side into a winning machine.

I am not alone is saying Leicester City have the whole country cheering them on, what it could be an historical achievement for them.

Understandably, their star players will be subject to speculations, papers are already speculating over their future at their club. Reports today, claimed that Chelsea have already approached Leicester City over Kante's & Mahrez transfer move to the Bridge in the summer. Also, Man Utd, Man City and Arsenal have made enquiries regarding Mahrez availability etc..

I think that a tougher challenge is awaiting Leicester City at the end of the season !! The big dilemma is weather Leicester City is able to hold on to their prized assets or even add more quality and build on to their team for next season !!

So, what next for Leicester ? Will they follow Blackburn Rovers or Chelsea's and Man City's footprints ?

Cheers mate, sounds good. I'm not too keen on Sydney considering what I've heard and the prices I'm seeing, but feel like I've gotta see it for a few days.

You never know! It won't be for a fair while, just planning ahead, but I'm sure we'll both be on here when I get to that area

Is everywhere in Aus really expensive? We're hoping to come over with $8-10k NZD but don't really know how long to expect that to last us before we have to work (travelling with the gf)

Yeah Sydney is worth seeing and so is Melbourne but I'd say the same thing about Tirane in Albania, which really has nothing to offer and Skopje in Macedonia, which I think is the worst place I've ever been because I believe everywhere is worth visiting because I'm a traveller.

Yeah everywhere in Australia is expensive unless you're earning the Aussie dollar. A backpackers will cost you $33 nzd/night for a dorm or about $100 for a double. Motels are around $140nzd/night. Even camping in Mooloolaba will cost you $45/night.

You won't go out without spending $150-$200 with getting into clubs and taxi's etc. Where you can find a pint you'll pay $16nzd. Restaurants are expensive too and so is public transport. Greyhound buses and the tilt train are expensive. Nothing is cheap.

I'd be very surprised if Leicester lose many of their star players in the summer. They will be in CL for sure (barring a horrendous run) and they have rich owners who could match any wages other clubs offer. The following summer is more likely especially if Leicestr don't maintain their form and drop down the table.
The days of rich clubs waving a wad of cash and players come running are running out with the new TV money. You have to give these players a bloody good reason to move and CL football is usually the best motivator.

The more things change the more they stay the same.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
So you think they'll stay put too - glad you agree

For at least one more season and then depends on how good they are. I think Kante is good enough to play for anyone right now but Mahrez isn't yet, he's got a lot of room for inprovement before he can be considered good enough for Barca.

Xavi said he could play for them in the "future" and I agree with that.
