In what has been a pretty low key season, there has, in my eyes, been 1 man who has come back from the wilderness to cement his place as essential to the Celtic midfield.
Big Tam is belting them in for club and country recently and he stands out as our main man in a crisis. He doesn't have great pace but he has great vision and good feet for a big man and when he hits the ball, it stays hit. He also has that knack for scoring important goals and making big plays in big games.
Hearts in the cup, he took the game by the scruff of the neck linking up with Leigh Griffiths to win us the game. That goal at Tynecastle slamming the ball into the roof of the net, which would have won us the game if not for a stupid wee boy (but ultimately won us a point).
Does Rogic score ugly goals? He is important because he is capable of that bit of magic to win us a game as he did at Kilmarnock the other week. Sometimes you just can't outplay your opponent, on a bad day at the office, its the quality player with that bit of magic that wins you games. Johansen has been badly out of form recently and if we are to have such a bloated squad then surely we might as well take advantage of it to play an in-form XI.
I'm looking forward to the Cup Semi Final for a number of reasons. Its a high stakes game with a Cup Final place up for grabs, its a chance to put the noisy neighbours back in their place, to expose the myths behind the magic hat and perhaps a game like this might bring a bit of bite to our season. We are just coasting along, whenever we look in danger from Aberdeen they seem to let us off the hook. They famously faded away after the split last season and I wouldn't be surprised if it happened again.
Losing is unthinkable. Warburton has improved them, as I thought he would at the beginning of the season but they are defensively vulnerable and if we get players like Griffiths and Rogic up against their shaky backline I am confident we will win.

Logic has it that Celtic should have no problem shifting the 'Gers so why are so many Celtic fans (like you) showing so much concern about the upcoming Old Firm semi-final?
Rangers are top of the 2nd tier of Scottish football. Celtic are top of the Scottish Premier League with a far more experienced squad to choose from. So why the concern?
Celtic at the present time could buy and sell the 'Gers probably four times over...and still have some left over to give their fans a 30% reduction on next year's season tickets. So why are so many hoop fans a bit apprehensive about the result?
Is it simply down to it being 'an Old Firm' derby match? Or is it fear of losing to what they have been led to believe is a totally inferior team? And their bitterest of rivals at that!
Seems to me that all the pressure is on Ronnie and his bhoys with Rangers having nothing to lose and everything (not to mention a chance to lift the Scottish Cup again, this time as a lower division outfit!) to gain!
Sweet Dreams.
