I think I went there a few times in 79 summer, we played them in the league cup as well, as I remember going to a night game straight from work!

Have a look Brum I think the League Cup ones you're on about were the following season. I can't remember those personally, but I'm sure I would have been at the home leg.

It would have been the 1980 LC game then 69!

I would say so mate although for the life of me I can't remember anything about those games, even though I would have been at one of them.

That would have been it 69, can't remember the details myself; all those games 35 years ago just blend into each other with the passing of time!!

It was obviously all quiet off the pitch otherwise we'd still remember it, all for the wrong reasons.

Summer,he wasn't too clever last I heard but let's hope he's ok now.
