Noel Kings ROI under 21 side got their Euro 2013 Qualifying campaign off to a winning start tonight in Sligo. A very impressive 2-1 win over Hungary.
Both goals scored by 2 ROI stars of the future . Man Utds Robbie Brady and Arsenals Rhys Murphy.
It was Bradys 3rd goal in 2 matches for the ROI U 21 side and ex England youth captain Rhys Murphy popped up to score the winner on his debut.
The futures looking good.

McCarthy and Barton did well too. Barton and Brady should get called up for the next senior friendly game to blood them in.

Not sure about Adam Barton. He's still playing down in League 1 with Preston.
The NIreland fans were raving about him after he played in their friendly against Morocco last year.
Then again it doesn't take too much to excite the long suffering supporters of the NIreland side so i wouldn't read too much into that

Look out for Aidan White at left back too!
We're a bit light on LBs in the senior team at the moment and this guy could provide a good future solution. He's finally getting his chance in the first team with Leeds this season.

McCarthy should only have played 45 mins last night so that he'd be available for tonight. Good to see he's available for Tuesday though
