how low are we going to finish ?

Evening reds...
Dont make too many threads....but this league season feels like its petering out into a damp squib and quite possibly our lowest league position in donkeys.

Didnt quite realise but chelsea are a point behind us and stoke are ahead ..
im hoping and praying that we save a performance for dortmund
and im hoping klopp has a masterplan this summer

5th United
6th West Ham
7th Chelsea
8th Liverpool

My prediction. Could be lower with our Europa distractions.

I think its ridiculoustd4dr to suggest keeping Coutinho should be Klopp's master plan. We have a lot of pressing issues and Coutinho is on a long contract. We can just say no to offers.

There's no guarantee that Klopp absolutely likes him either, though it's unlikely he doesn't but who knows what Klopp's plan is? Coutinho, unlike Suarez before him is replaceable.

I don't think we are in danger of losing anyone we don't want to lose really this time, so the focus should be on top incomings.

I can't see Coutinho leaving, he's been very hit and miss this season and isn't ready for a bigger club than Liverpool where he is the main man just yet.

This season has been more but we've some very good young players and next season is exciting with a world class manager and a few signings.

I haven't seen much evidence to show Suarez has been replaceable as far as our poor form has continued since he left.

As for Coutinho he should have a team built around him and stay at the club. If we sell him it sends out the same message as when we let Suarez leave.

We are a big club and we should be thinking big.

I hope we finish outside the European spots.

I'm not a bit bothered by the league this year, as soon as BR was fired our league campaign was gone for me.

Klopp new to the league and so many games to focus on I was ready to have a very inconsistent league campaign.

As long as Klopp learns form this season and implements the lessons next season I'll be happy.

I'm surprised by some of the comments on here; no doubt heart-felt and genuine, but negative, bordering defeatist in fashion. OK, we've got a new manager, still doing his best, I'm sure, with the old managers squad.

No matter who he wants, his spending power will never match that of City, or Chelsea, United or Arsenal, so the future, and future spending is a definite challenge. But that in itself is no reason to capitulate, give in, look enviously from the sidelines as other teams progress.

Where will we end, who will he bring in? Yeah, huge questions, no easy answers, but, my own answer is for the club to aspire to as high a position as possible this season, still keep top four in sight unless mathematically impossible, and get the fans behind them. To the very end.

Nothing less will do.

We've got a manager with a proven pedigree on the European stage. Add this to the fact that we are Liverpool and I'm confident we'll have some better players through the door at Anfield rather than the dross BR specialized in wasting money on

The team will be fitter, hungrier and JK won't stand any nonsense

I'd expect he'll get rid of a few but some are on massive contracts so will be harder to offload

As for been in Europe, we are Liverpool...we are European Football so the higher we finish the better. European football without Liverpool is not good for the game. Look at recent years, no Liverpool consistently in the CL and our coefficient has tumbled. You can't rely on the likes of Arsenal to prop that up.

All those CL years and they have done nothing for English football!

My point exactly. Think you didn't read that properly.
