The future of transfers deals?

The news that West Ham have decided not to take up the options to permanently sign Emenike and Song after disappointing loan spells is no surprise.

What is a surprise is Moses, not that we don't want him permanently, his performances haven't warranted what I'm sure would be high wage demands, but the fact that according to reports his loan came with a cast iron option to buy.

This all seems surprisingly sensible from the club, you get a loan player with a nailed down option and get to "try before you buy". With Lanzini he proved himself and with the above three it saves potentially expensive mistakes.

I'd imagine putting in the clause to buy increases the loan fee? Still it seems an intelligent way of doing business.

You weren't a fan of Moses?

He did OK, but we have other positions where we need to sign players much more. Antonio has done so in the same position. I'd like to have Moses as cover, but I don't think we are financially in the position.

Sane I am now a season ticket holder at our ICONIC new stadium. I'm just there now scoping out the place. Buzzing for it
