We need 12 points to be out of touch, if you take 12 points that will still be good given the teams you have to play.

United not easy.
Stoke not easy.
WBA horrible, they will park the bus and won't attack
Chelsea not easy and you won't win there
Southampton not easy
Newcastle who knows, they could be down but if they need to win to stay up it could be very tricky.

To take 12 points will be a good return, 14 very good and more than that very unlikely.

Seven points means you need to win four and draw two to reach 76.

Eight points means you need to win five and lose one to reach 77.

Nine points means you have to win five draw one to reach 78.

Ten points and you need to win every game.

Can you not understand why I might be confident?

Well reading between the lines it's just unrealistic to think you can win the league if you actually think about it.

If you do think you can still win the league then subconsciously you think you can take 14 points or more which is arrogant, whether you say it or not. That is the reality!

Either that or you think we will just capitulate and faik to take at least seven.

Which is it?

Put it this way, if it was the other way round then I would accept we were not winning it because I would think Spurs would take at least 10.

If you had our fixtures I'd say;

Sunderland W
West Ham D
Swansea W
United D
Everton W
Chelsea L

So 11 points and that would mean we'd need to win all of our games and I'd say no chance.

As I said, I wouldn't rule out:

A) Spurs winning the league. 7pts gap

B) Spurs finishing below United. 9pts gap

To me confidence is being pretty sure something will go as planned, but being aware that it could not (especially if it is something that has happened before)

Arrogance is refusing point blank to even acknowledge the possibility that things won't go as planned.

Well I think the variables are heavily in our favour. I think we will easily get another seven points based on our consistency over the last year and given the fact that we won six in a row under real pressure and I can't see you ghosting past everyone to pick up 14 points while we shiittt ourselves. We are approaching every game in the same way as we have since last April, one game at a time and there is no reason at all why we won't get seven points. It will take a monumental collapse for us to fail now and for you to do something special and I cannot see it happening.

We're currently on for 84 points based on form in the last five games, Spurs are on for 72 therefore you will need to improve and we will need to capitulate. I can accept it could happen in the same way England could win the Euro's but to me it's not realistic and I believe in realism not fantasy.
