I listened to the game on the radio last night and I'm sure pretty much every Arab said the same thing as I did at half time last night, which was that after playing so well, and wasting so many chances, it was inevitable that Partick would win. And so they did.
We can't afford to be as wasteful as we were last night. We need to put teams away when we're on top and to waste chance after chance after chance is a scandal when we're in the position we are.
It's looking tough now. I reckon we'll probably need to win 3 or 4 of our last 6 games, including beating Killie themselves. That's not impossible by any stretch of the imagination, but we need to be more clinical. It starts on Saturday against ICT which takes on huge significance. A defeat and a positive Killie result will be a devastating blow to our chances.
There's still hope, but it's starting to fade fast.
A Significant Set-Back

Mind and put your pampers on for the Petrofac final. You'll be at risk of wetting yourself with excitement if you finally manage to win that one.

You will get your shot at it next season don't worry

You think you'll win it next year Ivan? I think you'll maybe do it the following year

If we do go down it'll be a big challenge. The club will be in disarray, the fans will be at war with the chairman and I have no idea what kind of squad we will have.
I would imagine we'll put resources in to get us up at the first attempt but there's no guarantee - we pumped loads of money into our season in the lower league in the 90s and still finished 2nd.
If we do finish bottom I'll be hoping Hibs go up via the play-offs.

Peter Houston will take his team up via the play offs

Possibly. Houstie has done a great job at Falkirk. Delighted for him.
Raith could be dark horses in that play-off by the way. I think they've built a decent side.

Just come over to the Gers mate. That means on a Saturday we can fluck and then go to the games together
