So what's going to happen with him this summer?
Personally, I think his 2016 form has been sublime and we've finally seen the player we spent £25m on. His decision making (which was his biggest weakness) seems to be a lot better and we all know that his touch and technique is sublime.
However, with Mario Gotze being a target and the Brazillian duo (Coutinho & Firmino) already at the club, Markovic returning, Ibe/Ojo on the fringes and Klopp being quite open about the lack of proper wingers at the club, surely Lallana doesn't fit?
What do people see happening with him?
Adam Lallana

Isnt Gotze more or less the German version of Lallana? Being German makes him better than the English version. Not seen him produce that early Dortmund form at Bayern or Germany.

Klopp loves him and was singing his praises this last month. His work rate is phenomenal and he is learning to keep running but not like a headless chicken anymore.

he's work hard but lacks that bit that would actually make him a top player. he's not ruthless enough, too happy to do an extra touch or step over and isn't dying to get in to the area when it matters
I think his work and pressing means klopp will keep and he is an association player so that has value.

Hmm he'll probably remain this summer as a good option from the bench

He'll fulfill his potential as being one of our best squad players ever

Think he could have a huge season for us next season.
And I wasn't a fan but the last month makes me think he can take the next step and add the missing goals / assists to his game

He's not good enough or ruthless enough for me but he works hard and has a great touch. His poor shooting and lack of pace and strength means he won't be staying for too long. Don't think it'd be worth much selling him though as it would be a massive financial hit and he's currently playing his best stuff. He'll get 1 more year max unless his end product remains consistent

Klopp likes Lallana a lot, so I would say the chances of him being sold are very slim.
Personally I think we have a decent chance of signing Gotze, and will sign a specialist right forward.
This, assuming Coutinho stays, will leave Lallana fighting for a first team place.
He will be a very good back up for Coutinho in the inside left attacking position, that's both players best position IMO, and obviously Coutinho is superior.
