I never said anything about a statue, just laughing at your d!ckhead comment.
Still, let's see, Championship title or League Cup?
---------------------------------------------------------------------I-
Doesn't take long for you to resort to insults I see
My comment when I said he's never won anything clearly meant major trophies. Ask Liverpool and United whether they would rather have a league cup in their trophy cabinet or a championship title
Ask Man City who put out a strong team to win the league cup every year
----------------------------------------------------------------------
Think you're getting a bit carried away with yourself comparing us to Liverpool and Utd or City!
----------------------------------------------------------------------
Was using those teams to illustrate that the league cup is generally considered to be a bigger trophy than winning the second division title.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
Depends if you're in Div 1 and where you end up
----------------------------------------------------------------------
There is actually a ranking system that allocates points to clubs based on a combination of league positions and trophies won. This was used by a couple of publications to produce a list of club size (based on attendance, trophies won and league positions).
Let's just say that winning a league cup easily out ranks a second division title. Whether you or I agree with that or not, a second division title is not generally considered as a major honour. A league cup and an a FA cup is.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
It does to the fans and Club if they're in that division, would Man Utd fans settle for winning the league cup each year but not the title?
You said Pearson had never won anything, that's my only issue as its a ludicrous statement when talking about our Club.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
I've said multiple times what I meant - he has never won any major honours unlike Mon or potentially ranieri. It's pretty obvious that's what I meant do you really think I've forgotten that we won the championship?
You are missing the point - we are not talking about the league cup verses a league title. We are talking about the league cup verses a second division title. One is.considered a major trophy, the other is not.

Its a tough one, I think he's certainly been a factor arro and should be recognised for his work but equally he just didn't have the tactical nous to achieve anything like this.
I would argue that if he had played albrighton and played Vardy and mahrez in their correct positions then he would have done much better last team. Until the last 9 games its hard to.understand how he managed to do such an average job.
Ranieri has taken that spirit and realised the players.true potential which I just don't think Pearson was capable of
----------------------------------------------------------------------
Equally after surviving so successfully on s record run and learning so much in his first Premier season no one knows what he might have achieved this season and never will.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
Of course we don't we are speculating here. I personally, based on the evidence of his decision making last season, don't think we would be title contenders.
Ranieri rarely makes a tactical mistake. We would probably still be playing 3-5-2,which earlier in the season was being advocated by you as our best chance of keeping clean sheets
Ranieri has shown this to be rubbish. He has brought in Paulo Benetti as defensive coach and its changed everything. That back 4 now looks title winning quality using a 4-4-2. He knows when to make changes at the right time, look at the villa game at home.
He has far more experience than Pearson and has been in this situation multiple times. It all leads to the reasonable guess that in my opinion Pearson would not have us top of the league by 7 points.

Yeah Ranieri is on another level to Pearson, not even close.

Me and Arro are. Is that ok with you?

I actually think Ranieri is on another level to any other manager in the league, his attention to detail and tactical nous are unrivalled by anyone.

arro next season if he stays will show if it was just a fluke or not.

I don't think it's a fluke hafi. He's overachieved with so many sides now over so many years.
If we keep our best players then I think he will keep us challenging around top 4. That's a big if though and of course allows for the expected improvement of man city and you guys. That's probably where we would be this season if city had guardiola and United had mourinho and Chelsea had conte

He wants to end his career here so he'll be here next year.
