The latest in a line of bad injuries at Molineux, but this was an assault that should have received a straight red card, instead it was only seen as a yellow from a referee that should be taken off the list.
The list of injuries that he has suffered is diabolical.
“He’s injured his cruciate ligament, his lateral ligament and some other structure as well to the outside of the knee.
“He’s sustained a small fracture to the inside of the knee which gives you an indication perhaps of the amount of force that was involved in the tackle.
There has to be some kind of redress with assaults like this, the talk is he is going to be out for probably 18 months.
Has there been any contact from Antony Kay or even an apology, has there bullocks.

When I go to a match (been to around 800 in my life) ... It will be the same tomorrow, when I go to my annual match
----------------------------------------------------------------------
Are you 800 years old Unc? <yike>
----------------------------------------------------------------------
Did twenty years at forty five matches a season (including non league and other clubs), so have seen Wolves around 800 times.
Stopped going on a regular basis around the late 90's as I saw where the game was heading.
Probably only been to around 50 games over the last 17 years - and half of those are non league.

Maybe we should do a thread on what was the best match you didn't see

Sooo many options though, unc paints a fantastic picture of even the most flimsy of tackles.

The best match I never saw (involving Wolves) was the 3-2 defeat at home to Blackburn.
More emotional swings than a 40 year old woman drunk on wine listening to Adele.

Not bad Wulfrunnut, but I'd rather select a 17 man match day squad:-
Ikeme
Martinez (if we keep him)
Iorfa
Batth
Ebanks-Landell
Hause
Docherty
Henry
Saville
Coady
Edwards
Wallace
Price
Graham
Zyro
Dicko
Reid (who I hope will get pre season game time)

I agree with that, mainly because that is our entire squad minus the worst dross imaginable.
Not sure about this Docherty chap. Any relation to Tommy?

best match i didn't see was v. real madrid when i was 9.
sneaked out of the house less than a mile away hoping i would be able to get in the ground, couldn't so stood outside. the atmosphere as we came back from 2 down to win 3-2 is embedded in my brain now. 59 years later.
