Watching the Totts go a level up, dismiss finishing above as their greatest triumph cause they can smell the league and then Leicester put them to a painful sword.
Even in the season they may well finish above us they will feel losers.
Very strange season.
So funny

We've been good for most of the second half of the season, but way too many draws in the first half.
You were leading the way (with Leicester) back in December after having beaten City convincingly. You were made hot favourites for the league.
Nothing ironic at all. I would have taken top 4 at the start of the season, we now have a good chance to finish 2nd or 3rd.
The only thing that's ironic is you describing something as ironic when you clearly have no idea of what irony is.

This article is an embarrassment.
So essentially you're crowing about the fact that we won't catch Leicester. Back in January you were top with them, 7 points ahead of us with probably your best chance of winning the league and were probably rightly made favourites. Now you're further behind Leicester than we are.

It's the only thing many of our fans have left to cling onto in this abomination of a season. Utterly sad, but unfortunately true.

why are people sure spurs will finish above arsenal?

I actually don't think we will
But in reality what's the difference between finishing 2nd or 3rd. Neither position requires CL qualification.
It's only the idiots on 606 who have decided Spurs have somehow bottled the title because we currently are second. If Arsenal finish second the same will be said about you

Hmm, very strange article. If I follow the gist correctly, you were top and nailed on favourites for the league yet Spurs, who may well finish above you, are the bridesmaids.
Curious how some people's thought processes work.

Trust me if anyone has had a failure of a season it's Arsenal. This was your best chance of winning the title and you totally f*** it!!! Spurs were never in a title race at the start of the season and CL qualification was always our goal. Possibility we may finish 2nd is an outstanding achievement and although we will be gutted to lose out on the league, we still can take peace knowing how well we have done this season. Arsenal on the other hand have totally f*** another title challenge and to Leicester of all teams
