Following on from Ken Anderson's statement yesterday, he has just completed his first press conference. Within that he stated that they have shortened the list of preferred managers to 3 names. I think we can all take a guess at probably 2 of them (Brown & Wilder), but the third could be a bit from left-field.
I'm purely speculating here, but this morning there were rumours that Kevin Nolan is due to leave Leyton Orient today following a disagreement with the board, who want to assume control of match day duties but retain him as a player. This has lead to a flurry of twitter rumours suggesting that he could be in line to take over at the Macron. The bookies seem to agree with this as his odds on Skybet have been slashed from 33/1 right down to 3/1 third favourite behind the previously mentioned Brown and Wilder.
Personally I wouldn't be against him returning in some capacity, even as a player, but not as manager. I think if he is part of the plan then it would likely be as Browny's assistant or a player/coach role.
The new board, Deano and Anderson have some huge decisions to make in the next few months. The more prepared we are before even pre-season starts the better, starting with getting the right man in charge.

I reckon he will be coming as a player not manager. Been long in the planning. Need someone like that as captain and lead the dressing room. Certainly no worthwhile leaders at the club at the moment.

Wilder? Would that be Gene Wilder?
I haven't been following what Nolan has done since he joined Leyton Orient. Has he done anything to suggest he's good enough for the job. He's not been there five minutes.

Well the last few matches have shown one thing !!
Neil Lennon must have been doing a great job !
J.P. as had nothing out of the team even compared to how little Lennon got.
It's the dross we need to get rid of.
And Neil Lennon should be praised for the work he did
At BWFC without any backing,
Wrong place wrong time,I hope he's back in work soon
And is not judged on his results here.

I genuinely believe that Neil agreed to leave because he and the board had different views on one key issue: relegation.
I think the new board had accepted it was inevitable which Lennon was never going to accept until it was mathematically certain. It's no coincidence that the meeting where his departure was agreed came later on the same day that a meeting took place to tell him Feeney was being shipped out on loan.

Nolan has not applied for the job. So at the moment he's out of the picture.
Ken Anderson seems to favor a new face coming into the club, so I don't think we will see any ex player coming in.
