Kante

So it transpires that Kante has a £20 Mill release clause in his contract, that has to be a concern that we may be potentially forced to let him go and for such a paltry sum as well.

That doesn't mean he's off of course, of the three English teams that have been linked with him Spurs, Arsenal & Chelsea, only Spurs & Arsenal can offer CL football and he knows he'll play if he's still at Leicester although we realistically can't compete with the big teams on pay if they're determined to land him

Why on earth would she wear a jumper like that over her enormous drooping 54Kers?

Looks like a leopard having suffered a major stroke.

So it's not true? If it is, whoever sanctioned it needs sacking. With the benefit of hindsight of course.

Surely if there is a £20 million pound release clause, doesn't mean the player has to go for 20mill?
Just the starting point?

My understanding of a release clause is,

If a club wants a player with a release clause in his contract with his existing club - Then so long as the club who wants to buy the player offers and subsequently pays up the amount stipulated in the release clause, then the player can (if he wishes) join the new club and the contract with the existing club is terminated.

I am guessing when I say if this triggers a bidding war amongst other clubs then the existing club can prefer an alternative offer from another club, but there is no obligation for said player to agree terms with the alternative club.

If this is wrong can someone please provide the correct info
