With ut being 20 million we should be doing all we can to get him.
Just a midfield of Coquelin-Kante-Elneny for the tough away games with ozil sanchez and iwobi/welbeck drifting infront of them.
The likes of wilshere, Ramsey and Cazorla can play the easier games where teams will sit back.
Then again we want xhaka so dont know where we would fit them.
Rosicky, Arteta and Flamini to go makes up room i suppose...
Opinions?

C.C. added in a comma by mistake?

Haha, I actually did think "I wonder if someone will take the comma out" after I'd typed the comment.

Wilshere if he wasn't made of glass is the big missing link for us in midfield this season.
When his on his game there are not many better than him at all.

4-3-1-2 is what it looks like on paper but the way elneny can push up..front three will drift out wide ...ozil free role
----------------------------------------------------------------------
so ozil and sanchez both running around everywhere, welbeck up high not doing much, no win play at all, cant see how this wont work

OP
Do u honestly think Wenger cares who we want?

£20 Mil plus £1 should do the trick. Would be class if we actually did that and peed Leicester off haha

As good as Kante is he's not the profile we need. He's a b2b player and we just brought Elneny. We clearly need a controller/a played dedicated to dictating the tempo of our game.
Although I won't believe the Xhaka rumours till it happens, there is a lot of logic to why we would be interested if so. That's the profile we need.

Don't forget it's coming that time of year now where season tickets need renewing so we will be linked with all the top players.

I agree with this.
Kante is class, but I don't feel another destroyer is necessary.
The Xhaka rumours make sense because not only does he have the ability to break-up play, but his distribution from deep is very good.
He's the sort of player who could quite comfortably partner any of our other midfield options, IMO, and would give us a lot of flexibility as a result.
I'm not saying Kante isn't good technically, but he's not the sort of player who pulls the strings from deep, and I feel partnerships with players like Ramsey or Coquelin, whilst very high-energy, may lack a bit of guile.
