The final nail has been hammered in and down go our beloved Villa to the Championship.
Mismanagement, lack of commitment, whatever... it has resulted in the dramatic collapse of one of the premier league's ever presents and a huge football club.
We must now take our medicine and look to a new era. An era which, with the right people driving the Villa forward, we will return leaner and meaner, without the baggage of overpaid, under performing, sub standard players that have been masquarading as Aston Villa players for the last few years.
Our previous Board and current players are not fit for purpose, and have soured the majestic name of Aston Villa.
Form is temporary, class is permanent and I look forward to the return of the 'real' Aston Villa.

Look on it as a light break, a scenic, or not so scenic, tour of the heartlands of football in this country. Who knows what the rewards will be? It makes a change from the empty clamour surrounding the "top" teams in this country, the same old managers interviewed on how well their team played, on how a loss was really a victory in all but name.
We will survive. We will thrive. And we will get to trample over Small Heath yet again
