With the move of Max Gradel to St Etiennes, could this open up the move for Gelson to join us come the end of the season?

Didn't we assume that to be the case anyway? When St Étienne loaned him to Verona last year, they went so far as to publicly announce that it was a try-before-you-buy deal (though Verona didn't bite), so it's no secret that he's not wanted there.

I believe I heard that Gradel has been bought to cover Stead Malbranque who has been forced to retire after joining St Etienne after a month.Would love Fernandes here on a perm.
