Yes, but let's be truthful and honest about our CL win....as brilliant as it was from an emotional perspective............it was a feckin miracle achieved by a Rourke's Drift attitude/mentality rather than any amazing football quality.

The final league position that season tells us all we need to know about how good we really were that year..

Maybe so....one could compare it to Leicester this term in some respects...but to be fair we made loads of semi's and the final in 08 prior

We were owed a lucky win by virtue of our previous bad luck/being cheated etc. I feel no shame or embarrassment about claiming that win in 2012.

So your ok with RDM being sacked? Doesn't that make us like Real Madrid in respect to dumping managers despite success? This is my whole issue with the board no long term plan. I'd also add that if a manager knew he was here for say 4 or 5 years he may take the risk and introduce more youngsters but none will do that cos they won't take the risk of a poor run of results and sacked. Guus does it cos he's going anyway
