It is well known that the Queen is an Arsenal fan. Far be it from me to be on the side of that scrounging BINT, but surely the way Wenger is ruining Arsenal could qualify as treason? I'd say so, and really the only way to deal with treason is with execution.
Stepping down and separating himself from Arsenal would probably spare his life, and would be an amicable outcome for everyone involved.
But like Queen Queeef Lizzie the Benefit Hooor, Wenger rules over Arsenal to his heart's content, and it would require abdication for us to be rid of his prehistoric dictatorial misery.
