The way we are playing atm then we could join the queue.

Weekend results and games still to play mean that we are now still not safe.

Albion are not safe, they can still be relegated. It's perfectly possible Albion could lose all their remaining games. Newcastle, Sunderland and Norwich do not play each other again and they can all overtake Albion.

I know where JH is coming from, but we can still go down. If Albion lose all their last five games, then to avoid being saved on goal difference, here's what we can afford other teams to do:

Norwich, 31 points with 4 games left:
W2 D2

Sunderland, 30 points with 5 games left:
W2 D3 or W3 L2

Newcastle, 28 points with 5 games left:
W3 D2

It may be mathematically possible for us to still get relegated but it won't happen not even if we don't pick up another point. Newcastle, Sunderland and Norwich have some tough games coming up and there's no way that 2 of them will finish with more than 40 points.

We safe as houses!

Roll on the summer and we can hopefully start to move this club forward...

...without Pulis!

Newcastle play Man City tonight. If they fail to win then, bar some 10-0 wins, they can't catch us.

Agüero hat trick...

Update: prior to PL games on 24 April:

This is what we can afford our rivals to do without Albion achieving PL safety based on GD:

Norwich, 31 points with 4 games left:
W2 D2

Sunderland, 30 points with 5 games left:
W2 D3 or W3 L2

Newcastle, 30 points with 3 games left:
Best they can achieve is 39 points.

So now Newcastle can't catch us, so that's two relegation places settled one way or another.
