Guys I have always read good things about Aneke. Haven't seen him play though, but reading the youngunsblog i get the impression that he has got an eye for a pass and also is a commanding presence in the middle of the park.His understanding with Afoebe is well documented.
For those who have seen him play, please comment is he a fabregas, a viera or a mixture of both and will he make the cut.

Aneke and Afobe have always linked up well together and have a good understanding, I can't see afobe making it with us but aneke may, that said the central midfield position has a few good young up coming players so he may not make it

Afobe looked awesome from what I saw of him at the Emirates Cup...
Well, whenever he was up at my end anyway. He's HUGE and intimidates defenders, nice touch and not afraid to get stuck in. Hope we see more of him.

Aneke looks great, the reserves game against Wigan he was involved in everything!
Afobe looked great at the Emirates cup, they are still young we should give them time.

BTW - I heard Samson Siasia (Nigerian coach) wanted him in the Nigerian team, he is another coach that is good with working with youth!
He got his unknown players to the Under 20s WC and Olympic finals only to be marginally beaten by Messi and co!!!

he reminds me of yaya toure, when i saw him against wigan reserves his goal was class the one two before curling it in the bottom corner !! i've heard great things about this kid i hope he does take the Jay emanuel thomas
