What a signing, what a player.
Played every game of the season (Premier League) and committed only 8 fouls.
That's 8 fouls in 51 hours (excluding injury time) of playing as a central defender at the highest level of English football..
Seems wrong to single out any of the first eleven because they've all been magnificent this season, and this truly is a team who's sum is more than it's parts, but don't underestimate how awesome the parts are too!
COYS!

In my mind Toby a is the best centre back in the league.
only Diego godin and chillini are better centre backs in Europe I think.

How this guy has not made the pfa shortlist is beyond a joke.
We went from shipping 58 goals last season to having comfortably the best defence in the league, just 25 conceded with 4 games to go.
We have gone from a team who were frail at the back to one perfectly happy to defend and defend well. Toby is the difference.
Add to that he is superb on the ball, has a few assists to his name and a few goals too.
Remarkable player and every one of Chelsea, Arsenal, United, Liverpool and probably CIty will be wondering why the hell they did not snap him up for the £11m we paid for him.
This season has been a huge team effort, but he has certainly been our most consistent performer.

If he was English he surely would have. The problem is they confine it to 6 nominees. It'd be hard to take out any of the ones nominated, but they should have more nominees if Toby is getting omitted. They have Kane in there and I'd argue Toby has been better for us.
Guy has been immense this season.

he is an absolute boss, and should be winning fans player of the year.
i might even vote this year, if the voting hasn't passed already, which it probably has

His playing style reminds me of Ledley King so much.

He has been superb and a fabulous signing. Fingers crossed he is not attracting the interest of Real or Barca, because he could quite easily walk into their teams and do well. I would like to think he would not be allowed to leave in any case, but you can never say never when those two clubs come calling.

@weare
I never said the team would not improve I have said this season is an anomaly. Every team has an excuse apart from us and arsenal so we are where we should roughly be in the league.
My point is next season there are world class coaches spending millions upon millions more than we will it is a race next season.
The race is between our players development and teams throwing money at the worlds best players.
Regardless if Leicester win the league next seasons top six is set in stone. Arsenal, Spurs, city, Chelsea, United, Liverpool. In what order is very intriguing.
