Rangers have the chance of European Football well before any of us could realistically have believed only a few weeks ago.
The difference in the players that we can attract driven by that fact could be enormous.
How much would the transfer budget change should we beat hibs in the final? Do we think that Warburton's signing policy will change, or do you think he will continue to look for diamonds in the rough of the UK lower leagues?
It's great to be a Bear at the moment and I am really excited to see what happens going forward...
Europa League and what it would mean...

well reading the newsnowrangers posts they say 5 million with half of that coming from a soft loan from KIng. Meant to fancy a midfielder from barnsley called conor hourihane but he would cost a six figure fee.

"Cool so if you were to gt pumped out in the first round in europe you wouldn't say anything should change"
I wouldnt be saying anything should change no.
Because I dont expect us to get far in Europe.
You've said yourself that we've won one game and everyone is going mental
Well flip your own point mate.
We are a club that has just been promoted to the top tier...and you are expecting us to go banzai if we get dumped out in the first round in Europe??
The Celtic result showed that we are capable of matching the teams in the top tier, however, we need to see how we do over the course of a season in the top teir to get a real feel for how far wwe have come and may still have to go.
But to suggest we are going to go mad and demand change, on the back of one poor result in Europe, when we've qualified through the back door after winning the cup unexpectedly (which we haven't yet done)....is nonsense mate, utter nonsense

Agreed Stevie, I am also quite excited should we win the cup and get into Europe. I think our style of play suits all kinds of competition and we could just surprise ourselves how far crisp passing and movement gets us against European opposition playing a similar style.

Stevie πThe Mail had a budget of £5m being offered. Given the players he's brought in so far cost about 30% of that it augurs well !

I think being back in Europe will be a challenge. Maybe a challenge too soon but rangers can't really go out much quicker than Scottish top tier sides have achieved lately.

If we do get into the UEFA Cup it's depth we need and I'd like to see us being smart in that regard. Look at the positions we were already wanting to strength and buy a couple of extra players in those. That way if one of the new signings is a flop, there's another new signing in his position to fall back on. Still only really want to be looking at two or three extra players beyond what we'd want for the SPL anyway.
