Ok well if you believe in that, I will take Batman/robins take on it then, that the power of the curse has been neutralized!!!

Problem is, 'curse' issues are usually psychosomatic, meaning that if someone believes he is cursed, his performances will reflect it.

So the question is, is the subject easily influenced? Are they impressionable?

Considering that a number of people have no described him as deeply religious, I would have to conclude that he is a superstitious and potentially impressionable person.

So to sum up, the only way to prevent this guy from suffering from the 'curse of the Arsenal number 9 shirt' is to conceal it from him entirely, and hope he never finds out about it.
