Unfortunately that makes too much sense to become reality.

I wanted him at United whilst he was at Celtic, thought he would be a good partner with Smalling.

Still like him, looks very solid in the PL.

When was the last time Wenger brough in 'experienced Prem defender' don't tell me Chambers

He was a player I really wanted us to sign when he was at Celtic, but I fear Southampton won't let him go for anything less than an absurd fee.

Has everything a defender needs, and would provide us with some much needed physicality at the back, IMO.

Reid is doing well at West Ham as you can see by there position. He was available on a free as well lol
