Not long got back from Hull. Over ten hours at the wheel. Not sure how hamsters do it?
Witnessed something special again at the KC today that I have witnessed a few times before but it's something as a Leeds fan I'll never get tired of, namely the Leeds United 12th man effect.
Ten minutes of normal time to go the stadium is relatively quiet and the visiting players appear to have run out of ideas, almost seemingly playing and settling for a narrow defeat, then it starts, occasionally just audible, occasionally deafening but constant, very constant.
We all love Leeds, we all love Leeds, we all love Leeds, we all love Leeds, WE ALL LOVE LEEDS, WE ALL LOVE LEEDS, WE ALL LOVE LEEDS, WE ALL LOVE LEEDS, we all love Leeds, we all love Leeds, we all love Leeds, WE ALL LOVE LEEDS.
Until... with 2 minutes to go, a team visibly buoyed by this incredible show of passionate support break forward. Dallas takes aim and fires the whites level, driving the ball home from the edge of the box past the helpless Tigers keeper. Assist supplied by the Leeds United fans.
In those ten minutes plus, the Hull fans were obsolete, meaning less than nothing to us and knowing it, a few feeble attempts to out sing us foiled by a simple but dramatic and defiant raise in the LUFC volume levels.
Something that sets us apart, something that reminds you that whatever happens we can occasionally remind everyone that we are the best supporters in the land.

Great reply by another fan:
This was my favourite away game this season. The atmosphere was absolutely brilliant, went mental when we equalised. During those last 20 minutes or so our fans produced support that I don't think they will see in their away end again for a while. Incredible, and Marching on Together must have had 3 or 4 full loops in succession in full volume towards the end. After our equaliser my old man turned around to me and said "we f#$kin' sang that ball into that goal" and he's dead right.
Sometimes I wish I was just sat in the home end to witness what our end looks like when we get going like that. Days like today remind you as to why Leeds is such a special club.
All Leeds aren't we

That is exactly the reason why we will be back in the big time. Some clever owner that's willing to invest wisely will take us forward.

You will not find a more impressive set of away fans. We are something else.

The question has been asked about what we truly support as a club.
If the badge changes, stadiums move, players come and go - what are you left with?
This is your answer. It is having that same feeling that all the other Leeds fans feel. When you drive past Elland Road on a random Tuesday with no-one around.
That feeling you get when your on a night out in town, and somewhere, in the faint distance, you hear a group of p1ssed lads starting a new rendition of Marching on Together.
That feeling of seeing Danny Mills on the telebox and all those memories of 'that team' rushing back.
Matches like 4-3 Derby ('95) or 4-3 Liverpool or 0-1 Man U (FA Cup).
Tony Yeboah and Robert Molenaar.
That feeling of all being one when there is that ever-so slight pause before belting out the chorus line - "MARCHING ON TOGETHER!"
This is special club.

Truly the club's only and greatest asset.

The White Army was sensational yesterday, as acknowledged by two separate Hull fans who spoke to me as I walked back to the car park. "Your fans were incredible today." " That was the most amazing away support I've ever witnessed."

Completely agree
Add to that when you mention Leeds and some random person says that they're a Leeds fan.
When you mention Leeds and certain age fans of other clubs can reel off our Revie era player's names.
When you get a taxi in a foreign country, talk football and the way they say Leeds United.
