Dilemma

I have a fiver on Leicester to win the title at 100-1. Coral and others are offering 7-4. My brother, who understands these things better than I do, says mathematically it makes sense to put £100 on Tottenham because the prices make it a win-win situation. Sentiment holds me back. After today the prices will change. Views of fellow foxes would be appreciated.

In fact put the full 500 on spurs.

If we win it you've lost a fiver but you'll joyfully watch wes lift that trophy - worth well more than £500

If we lose you make £870. Plenty of money to drown your sorrows on

Don't know. Not interested but might see if they will pay out for my fiver on top four finish (15/2) and put £50 on Spurs but it goes against the grain.

City and Arsenal can still mathematically win the title. As unlikely as it is, just imagine if City or Arsenal did win the league and you tried to hedge your bets by sticking £500 on Spurs?

Actually, why not put £100 on Spurs, plus a £1 each on City and Arsenal (at 100/1 and 250/1 respectively) just for good measure!!

Stick another £100 on Leicester and win more 👍

As there is not sentiment in giving money to bookies so there is none in taking it off them. Have put £50 on Tottenham at 7/4. Don't want to waste any more. Strangely, Coral would not pay out my 15/2 top four bet. Have to wait until the end of the season. If that is how they want to play it forgive me for gloating when I get my winnings!! Cheers to all. It has been a great season.

£1 each on City and Arsenal is a waste of £2.

Go on Betfair and lay Leicester instead. Not only will you get better odds than backing Spurs but more importantly you don't have to back Spurs!

Odds are 1.51. Lay for £200 and it'll cost you £102 if Leicester win so you're still £398 up. If we don't win the league then you'll get £200 less the 5% commission Betfair charge.
