So as I expected Leicester won with ease today, stretching their lead to 8 points. I still feel we will win Monday night and cut it back to 5 points again but felt the need to create this article as some of the stuff I have seen on our board over the past month or so has really got on my two bob bits.
Firstly, not all Spurs fans begrudge Leicester the title, at the end of the day I will applaud their achievement if it happens and obviously if its not us then I wouldn't want anyone else but them to win it. Yes like some I feel that we are the better footballing side overall but whatever you need to do to win works just as well.
Secondly long may the baiting by other fans continue, there used to be a time when fans would bait us for finishing below them or getting smashed in games versus them, now they are baiting us for doing something that this season they have failed miserably at, challenging for the title.
Thirdly, I enjoy just as much as the next poster a bit of banter or wummery, but some of our own fans on here are frankly quite embarrassing, I won't mention names but most of you know our prime suspect, that sort of wum bollox really does nothing else than get on the wick of not only rival fans but our own as well. There is nothing wrong with a bit of optimism but that takes the cake.
So getting down to the matter in hand. I still believe come the Utd game that we will still be within 5 points and that both our fixtures this week are pivotal. I have always felt if we are within 2 to 3 points after these games it is still possible, 4 or more points going into the last 2 games will not be enough as Leicester will easily turn over dreadful Everton.
Despite all this I feel even a 2nd place finish is amazing considering most of us would of been happy with 4th, and if the title is out of reach we must concentrate on 2nd. I also feel that this wont be our only chance of challenging for the title and that we will be right in the mix again next season, echoing Carraghers' comments on MNF after the Stoke game. We are playing some of the best football I have seen since I started supporting Spurs and love the team mentality and spirit, along with the fact that we are top in pretty much every stat going apart from league position and with the new stadium & Champions League returning next season can only see us going from strength to strength. COYS!!!
The job in hand: Overview

By the way, don't take my comments as I don't believe we can do it, far from it. For once I genuinely have the belief we can, it's just we have to be top draw to do so.
It's going to be a great end to a great season regardless.

If Leicester win next week or if they don't but we don't win either then it's over I feel. We'll fight on until the end.
