Really surprised that this .....

... got past the huge Leeds United fans that post on this site...!

Unbelievable if you ask me...?

Have a read and comment if you wish

I particularly like this part

"....Amidst all this dysfunction and division, there are Leeds United fans that actually follow the football and not the circus that comes with it. Honestly, I never believed it until I saw it with my own eyes. I thought I was the only one, a lone crusader peripatetically ambling flanked by the pro- and anti-Cellino massives. But no, there are others.

They aren’t that hard to find either, they are actually everywhere. If you are lucky enough to be a member of a Leeds United group on Facebook, they are there in spades. The neutrals, those not aligned to either faction of support, are actually everywhere. It’s only when you are in these groups, or chatting over a pint of Yorkshire Blonde and a packet of salted nuts at The Peacock that you realise it.

All these claims from both camps about speaking ‘for the majority’ can be negated by actually being part of that ‘majority’ that the camps claim to represent. Look carefully enough everywhere and you can see them, those dour-looking fans bedecked in White. Shuffling towards the turnstiles, ambling past the ‘bedsheet protests’ and dodging amongst the ‘many hundred march’ or gathered around a table under an awning at the side of The Peacock, you’ll see them.

The faithful, the long-suffering, the majority..."

Well said Mr Smeaton.

MOT...!!!

Hi Eric ..... my reply is just saying that bitchiness is not the domain of those who disagree with the great one.

Even in your absence, as regrettable as that was, your name was brought up - and it may surprise you that it wasn't always complimentary, or highlighting your positives.

We're all guilty of the odd "unnecessary" comment or slight dig, I think that's fair to say. I call it banter, although that's overstepping the mark into bullying poor souls (I'm being bitchy now) I'm led to believe.

Happy days eh ...................

It's nothing to do with sides of a view on which the club is being run and my point wansn't about the article itself, more comments posted below.

Jonty hasn't even commented on this article, but his name gets brought up!

I am pleased your comment wasn't in reference to the article.

Makes you wonder why doesn't it...?

I haven't got it.

Mine, just as a point of interest, is firmly embedded between someone else's shoulder blades. Right up to the hilt, and dare I say it, it'll not be getting pulled out any time soon.

Metaphorically speaking of course.

Can't believe that, I always thought I was universally feted, for being a jolly nice chap and all that.

Eric, that's got me thinking, maybe I just took it out one night and forgot where I left it!.

the reason this poster gets mentioned is the fact when we seem to be doing well he is nowhere in sight yet is the first to stick the knife in repeatedly when things are going wrong and that really irks me.not bullying or bitching just stating an obvious fact and not forgetting he did think an anti cellino poster on twitter was a genius and then went all quiet when that poster was uncovered as a low life sleaze bucket

on the brighter side just had confirmed today that myself and team of 9 other lads have recieved a contract from uefa for euros but unfortunately seems we are being assigned as extra protection to austrians so will be flying out next week for preps, got a 10 week contract so better than going back to iraq.my understanding is we will be reassigned if and when austrians go home
