The Evening Telegraph are reporting that Stephen Thompson could be set to sell his shareholding in Dundee United - but only once he knows new owners can take the club forward.
Which is of course code for once he knows they can pay him what he's demanding.
I think this is for the best. It's been clear for a long time that he's lost interest and it's now had a significant negative effect.
I'd also ask that our friends from Govan try to maintain a sense of decorum and not display their arousal at this news.

He should get advice from Davie Murray on this.

Ask Lawwell done a great job of downsizing Celtic over the last 4 years. Less trophies, more empty seats, sold all their best players and replaced with dross and a dud of a manager who has taken the team backwards. The perfect business model for DU in the Championship

The last time we were in the second tier our attendances went up over the course of the season.
