This Sunday at OT

Leicester are on the brink of their first ever PL title. All credit to them for an excellent achievement and exceptional season!

They can win the title next weekend if:

*They beat United at OT - would put them 10 pts clear off 2nd.
*Or spurs lose on Monday night
*Or they draw at OT and spurs do not win at the bridge

I believe it is a far bigger game for us than it is for them, as its our last hope of CL qualification by winning our remaining games.

They have the best away record in the top flight by some distance, with 11 wins from their 17 matches on the road, LvG should set the team up in a way it won't be easy for them to do what they do best - counter attack.

There is no room for error. It won't be easy as they don't concede that much , but I have a good feeling we will be ready for the encounter and get a win this Sunday, as it has a HUGE impact towards the rest of our games including the FA cup. Champagne bottles should remain on ice until match #37.

I'm not really bothered about the who or when but whoever wins the title, I'd like it to happen when they're actually playing to a capacity crowd, not while they're watching from home as someone else fails to get a result.

Ideally I'd just prefer it to go on as long as possible, so hoping for United & Spurs wins this week.

I understand Leicester fans saying they want to win it at home, but experience tells me it's better to get it done as soon as possible. Even if they sew it up this weekend, the KP will still be a massive party for their final home game.

"We need to win the game but it will be tough"

Mind blowing analysis
----------------------------------------------------------------------

There is nothing to mind blow about that, shall I break it down to you further to understand?

We need to keep on winning in order to keep the CL qualification alive but at the same time this Sunday game won't be easy playing a top of the table team.

"not while they're watching from home as someone else fails to get a result."

I was over the moon when we won it in '93 because Villa lost to Oldham. The atmosphere at Old Trafford the next game was electric. I'm sure not a single Leicester fan would give 2 sh-ts if they won the league because Spurs drop point at Chelsea.

I cannot imagine us not winning this game. We are in good form, at home. We play a high possession game, which without vardy will be hard to counter. In rashford martial and lingard on a high from wembley we are seeing something beautiful come together.

2-0 to United, relatively comfortable
----------------------------------------------------------------------

They are the best team in the league and have a better defence than we have an attack.

I'm pretty sure you can imagine us not winning this game
----------------------------------------------------------------------

Not really. We have the second best defence. They would have had issues with our defence with vardy. Leicester would be camped in their half for long periods. A first half goal and we will coast it tbh

They're always camped in their half. It's what they do. They're happy with that. They have an outlet in Schlupp

I'm not a Leicester fan though, I'm speaking as a neutral.

My remark about what Leicester fans might want was in reference to DarkPhoenix's comment further up.

No Vardy, which means one of their most potent counter attacking options is eliminated.

We outplayed them at their home as well. We need to win the game but it will be tough
------------------------------------------------------------------
Missing Vardy certainly did.... instead of winning games 1-0 they smashed Swansea 4-0.

Swansea were atrocious and lost 3-0 to Newcastle the week before

PL title might go to the last day yet. 3 sinkers left for LCFC.

It's not outside the realms of possibility Leicester could lose at OT and draw v Everton (or even draw both) which could take the title to the last game.
